Hey.
Just 2 let every1 know that we have filmed most of our film and our now under way with our editing. I think we just have to re shoot some of our footage as it was really obvious that the locations were the same and have a still image of the newspaer, which shouldnt take long.
We have even found the most perfect music that fits in exactly with the mood and feel of our film.
We have also come up with our name for the fim. It is going to be called 'Pisces' and it will become much clearer why we decided to call it that when you actually watch the completed film!
Also soon we will have still shots from some of the scenes we have shot uploaded onto the blog so we can get some feed back from you guys. Please?!

Further Progress
This is mainly for Caitlin who has been very busy with Grease rehearsals.
We are pretty much up to date with everything. We have so far done our audience questionnaires, (which reminds me Caitlin, maybe we should put the tally questionnaire on here so people can read all the info?), plot, character profiles, background story, i know we started the storyboards but that was Caitlin's job so not sure how far we have come along with them and we have just started creating our mise - en - scene.
On the tues i started creating ideas for the newspaper that will appear in the fortune teller's preminition (not really sure to spell it lol but i mean like a prediction. I basically (very badly lol) drew loads of different ideas on a piece of paper. I think there were about 12 designs altogether with conventional and unconventional newspaper layouts.
Then i started to try and think what would we include on the front page? I wrote quite a few ideas down and will show you Caitlin when you finally get a free chance! But they were ideas like:
The headline?
The name of the newspaper? I think we decided it was going to be local though didn't we?
The picture to use? i.e a prison photo or the photo of Melanie and Ryan together?
Also i was talking to Mr M about would the audience when they are watching be able to the main article of writing? So he suggested that maybe we just write the 1st paragraph because conventionally they are bigger than the rest of the font and they sum up the story quickly without going into detail.
But today (Weds) i didn't do much for the production because i wasn't sure what else i should be doing! So Mrs B asked me to run through imoves with Lucy and Emma because they weren't too sure what they were doing. But then i completed a shot list but cant remember every shot, so Caitlin your gonna have to help me with that!
So basically that's it and hopefully we should be able to start shooting very soon!

Character Profiles
Ok so basically we have our whole story worked out and caitlin is currently finishing our story boards over half term so we can hopefully start filming as soon as we get back to school!
We thought that we would give you the back story to our characters so when you eventually watch the opening, you will understand what would have happened if we had made the remainder of the film.
Melanie Whitehall
17 years old
Lives at home with mum
Has an older brother but doesn't know why he left home and hasn't seen him since
She doesn't know that he is on parole from prison, after murdering his father
Never knew her father, so she craves male attention
RED HERRING CHARACTER...
Ryan Whitehall
20 years old
In prison for killing father and is set out to kill rest of the family because he always felt second best comapred to Melanie
He is let out on parole, escapes, kills melanie and then goes on the run
He has pyschological problems
He becomes the main character
Sunglow Black
Early twenties
Known her talent for fortune telling since she can remember but has only recently started her own business out of it
96% of the time she is correct in what she is saying
She also becomes a main character through trying to stop Ryan from his killing spree
Bye x x
Also Caitlin if you read this before you have Grease rehersals, ask Miss Berry or Miss Davise about the crystal ball because i forgot to on Thurs!

Hey everyone!
Well, this is largely for Helen really, you weren't in today but I got some stuff done.
I did the questionnaires that I have, and started one questionnaire as a kind of tally for the rest so we can clearly see the most popular answers.
I also started a big planning sheet for ideas and stuff, been struggling a bit for inspiration but I've got a few ideas, involving CSI influences and technology, etc... work in progress peeps!
And I know this blog isn't strictly thriller-orientated, but me and Helen are girly and it's just a bit of fun :D
See you all tomorrow! Hope you feel better, Helen :D

Hiya
Yey i got the blog up and running. Hope it looks ok Catlin? If not you can change it!! But basically this blog is going to get pretty full with our plans for our thriller opening for our media coursework.
